When you say "see other PCs in my network", I interpret this to mean you
are using a Windows PC and you can 'browse' the network and 'see' PCs, printers, etc.

You can get this funtionality with FreeBSD. Most likely, you want to look at
samba (www.samba.org , or check the ports tree /usr/ports/net/samba.

There are also some very good set up guides available.
Check http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/corp-net-guide/index.html
or do a Google search for samba and FreeBSD.

Best Regards,
