In linux you have to compile in ufs support in your kernel. On the prompt you
will need something like:

mount -t ufs -o ufstype=44bsd <dev> <mnt-point>

Therefore in your fstab:

/dev/xxxxx /bsd  ufs  ufstype=44bsd  0 0
