I don't know whether this has changed, but at least some people reported th=
at=20
prefetch caused very poor streaming performance. I had the same problem=20
(e.g., more or less unable to play a movie) until I disabled it.

I have, however, not tried re-enabling it with newer versions (this was fro=
m=20
the earlier days of ZFS in current).
