People, When I reinitialized everything and added snd_sb16, things began working. mplayerplugin too. :-) A friend had several speaker system stashed in his garage and I'm using it. I never thought a computer sound system could do this well. Zounds!! gary PS: Anybody know if the another driver than the sb16 would work better?
