It needs to be 2.4.7.. earlier versions don't have xpm support. You can get it from http://wm.current.nu/files/rxvt-2.4.7.tar.gz among other places. Run the configure script with the following flags.. ./configure --enable-xpm-background --with-x --with-xpm Also, this is more of a question for the questions list, not ports.
