Yep, I've done it no problem, you just have to add device pcm to your kernel
config file, and then make the device like any other sounds card. Sorry I
lost the link for the how to for this. One thing to note though, I have only
ever got it to output to the front speaker outputs, never to the rear
speaker outputs (where of course my stereo is hooked up :) ) If you can get
it to  output on both outputs, I'd like to hear how you did it.
