The run: portmanager x11/kde3 -l -f to add/update/repair a single port with logging and forcing all of it's dependencies to be rebuilt. A log file will be created in /var/run named portmanager.log that you can inspect after the program finishes. I would highly recommend that you update yours ports prior to running this program.
