I am running FreeBSD 1.1.5.1, and recently got a Colorado Jumbo 350 QIC 40/80 tape backup. I installed it off of the floppy controller, and rebuilt my kernel with the line in CONFIG for tape backups uncommented. I have ft in the source tree & as sbin, but they won't work. My dmesg output is as follows: >fdc0 at 0x3f0-0x3f7 irq 6 drq 2 on isa >fdc0: [0: fd0: 1.44MB 3.5in] [2: ft0: Unknown tape] What should I do...? --------------------- William Allison Ian Freed Consulting, Inc.
