ENOENT ("No such file or directory") can also mean that a symbol that the
module requires cannot be found in the kernel. This can be many things,
including a missing prerequisite module or that the module was built with
a different set of options to the currently running kernel.
Check dmesg to see if there is a related error message from the kernel.

Geez, I'm so embarrassed. This is the first time I've ever run dmesg. =
Lots of stuff in there; anything in particular I'm looking
for? I see "link_elf: symbol altq_remove undefined" 6 times at the end. =
Before that I see "pid 34320 (conftest), uid 0: exited
on signal 12 (core dumped)"... yikes, that doesn't sound good. I piped =
it all through grep for "pf" and didn't find anything.

I've attached the dmesg output. Sorry everyone, I'm not trying to get =
anyone to do my work for me. I've actually been
working very hard to solve this on my own. I genuinely want to learn =
something from this in the process, and to be truthful,
I HAVE learned much from all this. But I would also like to get pf to =
work! :D Thank goodness it's Friday.
