FreshPorts is surely one of the most useful ports resources around
there. The problem I have with making it the `official' reference is
that it is controlled by a third party (and not the FreeBSD Project), so
the influence we have on it are limited. Even if it is considered
superior to the official site, I would vote for adding a link to it, but
still having something official on FreeBSD controlled servers. We can
add a link to the FreshPorts page to every port page, should this
considered useful, but we should make clear that we are linking to a
third party site with a possibly different publishing policy.
