Your email sounded like you=E2=80=99re looking for an alternative to git bec=
ause MS bought github. As git doesn=E2=80=99t require github (and there are a=
lternatives to that too, including hosting a git repo yourself) your logic d=
idn=E2=80=99t add up and I assumed you thought that owning github means owni=
ng git, which is not the case.
