When you're using ppp, it's usually not a good idea to use natd.

What you should do is, start ppp with the "-auto" parameter.
That will make it act like a gateway. The next thing to do is
to setup the other computers to have their gateway set to
10.0.0.1.

If they are FreeBSD, then, put this line in /etc/rc.conf:
defaultrouter="10.0.0.1"

But, if they are windows:
1. Right-click network neighborhood
2. Click properties
3. Click on tcp/ip for the nic card.
4. Click properties
5. Click the tab labeled Gateway
6. Type in 10.0.0.1
7. Click add
8. Click ok
9. Click ok
