I'm running a 5-CURRENT snapshot from January 20.  I've built a kernel that
includes cardbus, pccbb, miibus, and dc (for my AmbiCom 8100 DEC
Tulip-based card), and enabled DHCP. Right now I'm getting "watchdog
timeout" errors on boot. Last time I tried this (Dec. 5) the errors were
due to the fact that the graphics controller and the ethernet card were
both being assigned IRQ 11. I've tried editing /etc/pccard.conf so that it
doesn't consider IRQ 11 free, but this doesn't affect anything. This time
(Jan. 20), though, there seems to be no mention of my graphics controller
in the dmesg (another thing to worry about?) - the line below is from a
boot on a December 5 -CURRENT system.

pci0: <NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD SVGA controller> (vendor=0x10c8,
dev=0x0004) at 2.0 irq 11

I've looked at /boot/device.hints, but it doesn't seem I should put
anything in there - everything in there is ISA. Anyway, I tried that on
the December 5 system and although it got rid of the watchdog timeout
errors, the card seemed no closer to working.

The output of a boot -v is attached. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,

-David
