Arguing ad hominem, as you do above, is the caustic irritant.
These issues are important and should be discussed in a level-headed
fashion.

Advocacy has been responsible for the overwhelming amount of
press enjoyed by Linux -- even though it is technologically
inferior to the BSDs and licensed in a way that is truly
dangerous to businesses and others.
