We did this on all our PCs and the Mac, because it's just so much more convenient than messing about with USB hubs and a rat's nest of cables. > Do I have to build it into the kernel or what? There's a program called gocr, but I've never managed to beat it into working properly ... still, being able to do the scan itself is an excellent start, because in the worst case you can get the TIFFs to a machine that does have good OCR. - d.
