On 2002-08-11, freebsd@tcowen.com scribbled:

# Matthew, thank you for the detailed explanation. apparently 4.1-release
# didn't include cvsup-without-gui. should I download
# "ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/branches/-current/ports/net/cvsup-without-gui/Makefile"
# or is there a better way to get it?

Check the Makefile under /usr/ports/net/cvsup to see if there is any
mention on how to build cvsup without X11 support. Normally you can
build a port without X11 support by running the following command from
within the port's directory:

make all install WITHOUT_X11="yes"
