The executable file is still owned by user 1003 (formerly identified as his
account through "/etc/passwd").  If you want to still run it, use the
'chmod' and 'chgrp' commands to assign new ownership.  If you simply want
to kill the process, use the 'kill' command.  (This program doesn't start
running when you reboot does it?)
