Good afternoon all, I am running into and interesting problem that I cannot
figure out.. is this a bind problem or a freebsd problem?

I get the following when I try and start bind:

# /usr/local/sbin/named -u bind -t /etc/namedb -c /etc/named.conf -g

Here is sysinfo:

FreeBSD bowmoreislay 4.5-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.5-RELEASE #0: Tue Jan 29 07:52:50
GMT 2002 murray@axpbuilder.freebsdmall.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/GENERIC
alpha

I found an old posting about a problem similiar to this it was said this was
a bug in BSD, but that was circa 3.0.

Anyone running 4.5-release on AXP? It's an older Alphaworkstation 300.

TIA
Eric
