At one point, I had my CD burner in my FreeBSD box, and it was doing the
same thing (i.e. burning data CDs ok, but failing to write audio tracks)
My CD burner is a LG CD-RW CED-8080B. I have since fried the motherboard
of that computer and moved the burner elsewhere, and this was probably
about 1.5 years ago, so I was running something like 4.2-RELEASE (I
think). I tried the cheap CDs and the higher quality CDs for burning
audio tracks, but they both produced the same errors.
