The version of gettext was recently bumped, see 20100530 in UPDATING. After upgrading gettext and all dependencies (portmaster -BCHKtD --no-confirm -r gettext), wget has ceased working: /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libintl.so.8" not found, required by "libelf.so.0". >How-To-Repeat: Compile ftp/wget with NLS enabled, against a version of devel/gettext from before the 201000530 bump. Then upgrade devel/gettext to the current version. Similar issue with security/gnutls may effect the reproducibility of this. See ports/147448 >Fix: Probably bump the PORTVERSION in ftp/wget/Makefile, so that updating tools will see the need to recompile it.
