Hi,

on a recently updated 'Stable' machine, going into the directory
/usr/ports and calling "make index" (which should rebuild the INDEX
file) fails. The first error lines are:

> Generating INDEX - please wait..
> "Makefile", line 16: Malformed conditional (${XFREE86_VERSION} == 3)
> "Makefile", line 16: Need an operator
> "Makefile", line 18: if-less else
> "Makefile", line 18: Need an operator
> "Makefile", line 20: if-less endif
> "Makefile", line 20: Need an operator
> make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
> make_index: no entry for: /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/qt145
> make_index: no entry for: /usr/ports/x11/kdelibs11
> make_index: no entry for: /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/qt145
> make_index: no entry for: /usr/ports/x11/kdelibs11

After that, there's about 3300 more "no entry for" lines.

I assume it's a X11 issue; X is not installed on this machine.

Greetings,
