It has taken 2 years until ion2 became stable. Hence I don't think ion4 will
appear soon.

My wish would be to have ion-2-20040207.tar.gz as x11-wm/ion,
and ion-3ds-20040316-1.tar.gz, ion-3ds-200ymmdd.tar.gz as x11-wm/ion-devel.

When ion-3 become stable, it will be x11-wm/ion, ion-4 as ion-devel and so on.
