Hi In the chapter A3, the book explain how to conver docbook to others formats txt, text and pdf as well, instead of executing jade in comandline its posible to do make FORMATS=tex or make FORMATS=pdf, note that the example given of pdftex by comandline using the texporc/docproj build method fail, this port not install de jadetex package needed to make the pdf correctly will be good to write in the book both examples by comandline and a standard make FORMAT=<format>.
