mysql-3.23.51 on current has been "freezing" reporting over 100% user
on top. mysqladmin shutdown will usually not kill the offending process.

To get 3.23.51 to compile I modified the Makefile, as someone suggested by
removing the following two lines:
                --with-libwrap \
                CXX="${CC}" \
Is anyone else seeing this? Is it a problem with mysql or current? I really
don't know where to start looking. It doesn't crash and I can't find any hints
in the log files.

Thanks,

ed
