See www.freebsd.org/handbook/current-stable.html. read all of it and then see: 18.2.1.4. Using FreeBSD-CURRENT go to point 2b. Get the cvsupit package. It's really easy to use. If you're new to cvsup, you'll probably want to stick with release versions or -stable.
