If he is admin'ing it (and presumably the DNS) he can add
anything he wants.  Goes with the job.

Added it to your DNS zone file that *he* administers.

Depends.  If the name server is open you can run nslookup and
issue the command

> ls ourcompany.com

If the name server is tightened up, and it really should be, this won't
work.
