Thanks Joe.

I've dumped the information here:

http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/markir/hal/ck-list-sessions.out
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/markir/hal/conftxt.out
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/markir/hal/fstab.out
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/markir/hal/hald.out
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/markir/hal/lshal.out
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/markir/hal/mount.out

I tried

gnome-mount --block --no-ui --verbose --hal-udi xxx

for several of the device udi's and all seemed to hang after showing the
version number.

Cheers

Mark
