In my search to learn more about PERL and FreeBSD and such, I typed in
the code at http://www.usenix.org/publications/perl/perl14.html and its
siblings 15 and 16, which set up bare-bones http clients and server.
When I attempted to execute, I was able to get it to work except for the
fact that $SIG{"CHLD"} = "IGNORE"; did not cause an ACK of the signal
which would allow the child processes to die. I'm still stuck with
zombies. What am I missing?
