Hi Robert, Is the panic Patg encountered already fixed ? (You can trigger it yourself, it's very easy: cd /usr/ports/net/quagga make install then start the ospfd and see a 5.3 machine panic instantly. All you need is IPV6. Other options don't matter. The ospfd operates on raw IPV6 sockets, that may point to the problem. Quaga itself works. Martin
