Except that I was born in Harlem , raised in Puerto Rico then went
back home. The tidbit about blacks / Puerto Ricans resisting
to be part of  main stream is  white america propaganda. In fact
I would argue quite the opposite by the scale of violence from
the black population . Imagine the same scenario elsewhere for instance
Ireland .
