Seems that the NCR bios code deals with these drives just fine,
I had to make sure that I did not have a gross problem and 
brought up DOS/Windows with this drive on the NCR controller
and it was dealt with, no problems at all.

I should send in my Chinnon ISV stuff so I can get the firmware
docs to this drive.  Also the drive runs fine and in *SYNC* mode
on a BT445, so something is wrong in the NCR code.   I will
produce the probe messages that show this for you when I next
go to look at this drive.

Jordan would have to do that, I am using the same thing you are
(Atlas series drives).

:-(, can you give me the numbers from you data books, and the
phone number for NCR, I'll call and order a set of the data
books myself.
