I dont know if it really matters, but take a look at this : bash-2.01$ ftp ftp://ftp.freebsd.org ftp: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org: Unknown host ftp> open ftp.unicamp.br ftp: ftp.unicamp.br: Unknown host ftp> and also: #lynx http://www.freebsd.org Alert!: Unable to connect to remote host. lynx: Can't access startfile http://www.freebsd.org/ bash-2.01$ but lynx http://204.216.27.18 works fine ! Thi should be a problem with DNS - I think - but I have ppp running fine here. using ppp -alias provider allows me to use my NT box to connect to the NET w/o problems. Suggestions ?
