Off topic... but interesting :)

I have made a preliminary port for rtl_sdr :

http://contribs.martymac.org/FreeBSD-ports/sandbox/rtl-sdr-20120823-port.tgz

If you want to try it :

# cd /usr/ports/comms && tar xvzf rtl-sdr-20120823-port.tgz
# cd rtl-sdr && make install clean

It builds and (seem to) run fine ; unfortunately, I have not been able
to listen to FM radio using rtl_fm and my Noxon DAB stick : I can only
hear noise.

Can someone report any success/failure story ?
