Hey Dawn, actually i have been doing this on my current builds. I haven't run M9 in a while. FreeBSD has been brown on tinder box for about a week now. I am pretty sure the bug of M9 crashing on startup is known for freeBSD. I will check the bug list as soon as i have a minute.
