I'm sorry about the downtime, I haven't forgotten you.  I found the
problem, but the failure occured at the worst possible place, and I
don't want to cause you all to reload, so I'm being careful about this.
The last good diff was 3907.

Look for 3908 to be a whopper, which will come out RSN (I can't be any
more precise).
