I just installed an Onstream SC50 tape drive. My machine is running
FreeBSD 3.3-RELEASE.

dmesg reports:

sa0 at ahc0 bus 0 target 2 lun 0
sa0: <OnStream SC-50 1.08> Removable Sequential Access SCSI-2 device
sa0: 10.000MB/s transfers (10.000MHz, offset 7)

I have tried several commands with mt but all result in failure messages.

# mt fsf 1
mt: /dev/nrsa0: Invalid argument

# mt rewind
mt: /dev/nrsa0: Invalid argument

The error messages returned by the above two operations as displayed
by dmesg are:

(sa0:ahc0:0:2:0): REWIND. CDB: 1 0 0 0 0 0
(sa0:ahc0:0:2:0): ILLEGAL REQUEST asc:24,0
(sa0:ahc0:0:2:0): Invalid field in CDB

(sa0:ahc0:0:2:0): REWIND. CDB: 1 0 0 0 0 0
(sa0:ahc0:0:2:0): ILLEGAL REQUEST asc:24,0
(sa0:ahc0:0:2:0): Invalid field in CDB

Suggestions please.

Keith
