A nice feature indeed. So I would have been screwed anyway. Currently installing opensol on a spare hard-drive for the evening's recovery attempts. I wonder if the newest opensol dev version is the way to go (has way newer zfs version, maybe more... options). Any hints to offer for the procedure?
