Hello. I have a problem on several diskless boxes protected by IPFW. Due the fact I allow all IP traffic within the local network, I can reach each X11 offering host. Our computing center offers also X11 hosts and we would like to reach them via our own X11 diskless terminals. I allow a dedicated connection (TCP and UDP) from the diskless machine's port 6000 to the network of the computing center and back. I allow AUTH protocoll (TCP 113). All connections are managed via a XDMCP host within our local network. The problem is, I can get displays from our local machines but not from those offered in the network of the computing center. I guess, there are several dependencies I forgot and I need help for which protocols and ports the filter should be transparent. Thanks, O. -- MfG O.
