Im having some problems to set up my video resolution. The manual of my monitor and video card says that it can go up to 1024x780 (or something, I dont remind it exactly now). But when I try and follow the vendor specifications the X just wont run, it fails to start up and give me messages about unsuported modes. When I use ms windoze I can use it without problems.
