>Release: FreeBSD 2.0-RELEASE i386
>Environment:

	486DX40, 8 MB, Adaptec 1542B, three SCSI-disks, CDROM
	Archive SC499 with SC402 controller ( qic-02 )

>Description:

I get 'unrecoverable errors' when using tar with /dev/rwt0. The
kernel is configured correctly; the streamer is found during
	startup.

>How-To-Repeat:

every command which uses the streamer.

'mt' won't use the streamer ( unknown tape )

tar gives me 'unrecoverable' errors or 'input/ourput-errors'. The
drive is detected and tar sees if it is write-protected.

	tar tvf /dev/rwt0

>Fix:

I would be happy, if you could make the streamer work :-)
