Questions:

    Version:  FreeBSD 4.1
    Hardwar:  IBM Intellistation Z Pro, PPro 200, 64MB Ram

    I am installing 4.1, to replace 2.2.8, and the problem
    that I have is that my CD Burner no longer works.

    Attached is:

       my kernel config file:  KERNEL_MAX1
       output from dmesg cmd :  dmesg.out
       my script for burning:  cdClone

    When I use the character device /dev/cd0a or cd0c, the
    error that I get from the dd command is:

         dd: /dev/cd0a: Invalid argument

     Since, for reasons that I do not understand, all of the
     entries in /dev are now (4.1) character devices, I used
     mknod to make two block devices with the same major and
     minor numbers as the character devices /dev/cd0a  and
     /dev/cd0c:

        burner0  6, 0   /dev/burner0
        burner2  6, 2   /dev/burner2.

     However, when invoking cdClone with /dev/burner0 or burner2,
     the error that I get is:

          dd:  /dev/burner0:  device not configured.

      I am able to able to mount the device as /dev/cd0a but 
      NOT as /dev/burner0 or burner2.

       If anyone can help, I would certainly appreciate it.
