When I try to dialin to my kernel ppp setup with a very recent
RELENG_2_2 kernel something breaks. A 2/20/97 2.2.GAMMA kernel
works just fine. I get no messages to /var/log/messages, and
when I kill pppd it writes

May 21 11:56:35 cssunix pppd[283]: Terminating on signal 15.
May 21 11:56:35 cssunix pppd[283]: Connection terminated.

What changed?

Thanks,
Russell
