I'm having trouble getting a remote tar connection to work. server is a somewhat older 3.0-current of December 1996. This is what I get on the client side: duke> tar tvf acbri504:/dev/rst0 select: protocol failure in circuit setup tar: can't open acbri504:/dev/rst0 : Input/output error -- Chris Christoph P. U.
