We already have a wiki page with some details regarding the update to 
xorg-server 1.20.  I'll add this information there as well (I should 
have thought about it last night).  I don't know if that is enough though.

This only affects a subset of graphical interfaces, most notably KDE and 
possibly xfce.

I'll look into if it's possible to have libxkbcommon behave differently 
on FreeBSD 11.  As noted previously in this thread, the xorg-server port 
has the devd option enabled by default on FreeBSD 11, as opposed to 
FreeBSD 12 and later where the default option is udev (evdev).
