>Release:        FreeBSD 2.2.6-980321-BETA i386
>Environment:

	Compaq DeskPro 2000 with 254M FAT volume mounted R/O to
	FreeBSD. Root directory has 576 entries in 36 sectors (as
	reported by Partition Magic), DOS slice uses 4K clusters.

>Description:

     At boot (mount time for disk), I receive the following message:

	Mar 23 22:06:49 fantasy-factory /kernel: mountmsdosfs():
	Warning: root directory is not a multiple of the clustersize
	in length

     This may be correct, by the numbers above the disk uses 4.5
     clusters for the root direcrory. However if neither Windows
     95 nor Partition Magic care, FreeBSD should not report if it
     is not a problem (or refuse to mount the drive if it is a
     problem.)

>How-To-Repeat:

	Reboot with specified configration.

>Fix:

	Unknown.
