The pcvt in 3.0-CURRENT uses different set of I/O routines to access
the keyboard. Get files in /sys/i386/isa/pcvt in the 3.0-CURRENT tree
and see if they work for you. (You are advised to backup the original
pcvt source and the kernel before doing this, of course)
