 That's because they don't really exist.  There are already too many
 outdated protocols in /etc/protocols.  If you can find a protocol
 which is in actual use right now and which is not covered by the file,
 then please send a more specific bug report naming that protocol.  If
 you just want a complete list of assigned protocol numbers, then you
 can get it from the IANA's Web site.
