Hi Larry,

I had to add a CONFIGURE_ENV w/ LDFLAGS to the Makefile, because
configure links -lxdiff in order to detect some symbols. It's one of
those cases where the error message from configure is somewhat misleading.

At first, I thought it was complaining that libxdiff had to be upgraded
to 0.23, but after going through that exercise, it turned out not to be
the case.

Thank you,
Greg
