FreeBSD Newbie Newsletter is aimed at people new to FreeBSD, whether coming
from a Linux, Microsoft or no background. FNN is a print-only newsletter
published entirely under FreeBSD. Readers are encouraged to photocopy FNN &
distribute it to all their friends. First Issue printed September 1999 with
copies sent to Germany, Brazil, England, U.S.A. and Canada. This issue
covers:

Learning General - small steps (accomplishments)
Learning FreeBSD - sources to help newbies.
Aliases - using colorls -G as an example
Ports - explaining that there's more than just packages & make, make
install

Current subscription method is to email your address details to
charm@sgci.com. I would be happy to send FreeBSD.org a few copies. (Please
feel free to photocopy and distribute them with any FreeBSD products if you
find the newsletter useful) [Where should I mail you copies?]

Thanks and regards,

Charles McColm, charm@sgci.com, carl28@mailexcite.com
