41000 Hz is slightly fast for a CD. It should be 44100 Hz.

I just found quelcom in the ports that contains qwavinfo, a utility that
displays info about wave files. I don't know any wav converters for
FreeBSD, though. Try searching the port collection. I don't know how you
got the .wav files, but a recorder or ripping program should have the
appropriate options to write to 44100 Hz files.
